💰 Salary & Fixed Pay Details
- Research Assistant, Class-3: Rs. 49,600/- Fixed Pay per month for the initial 5 years.
- Statistical Assistant, Class-3: Rs. 40,800/- Fixed Pay per month for the initial 5 years.
- Regular Service Benefits: Upon successful completion of 5 years of satisfactory service, candidates will be considered for regular placement under the applicable 7th Pay Commission pay matrix.

⚙️ Selection Process
- Single-Stage Written Examination (MCQ-CBRT/OMR): Total 210 Marks across two parts (Duration: 3 Hours / 180 Minutes).
- Part A (90 Marks): Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 Marks), Constitution of India, Current Affairs & Gujarati/English Comprehension (30 Marks).
- Part B (120 Marks): Subject-Specific & Educational Qualification Questions (Statistics, Official Statistics, Mathematics, Economics).
- Qualifying Standards: Minimum 40% qualifying marks required separately in Part-A and Part-B for all categories.
- Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) mark deduction for each incorrect answer.
- Document Verification: Merit-listed candidates (approx. 2 times vacancies) will be called for document verification.

- Application Fee: Rs. 500/- for Unreserved Category; Rs. 400/- for Reserved Categories (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, Women, Ex-Servicemen, PwD). (Note: Fee will be refunded to candidates who actually appear in the exam).
- Age Limit: 18 to 37 years as on 23/09/2026. Upper age relaxation applicable for reserved classes, women, PwD, and ex-servicemen as per Gujarat Government rules.
