📋 Position Summary
The Area Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic and operational functions of AKRSP(I) in the assigned territory. This leadership role ensures high-quality implementation of development projects aligned with AKRSP(I)’s mission, effective coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders, and representation of the organization at state and national platforms.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Strategic and Programmatic Leadership: Develop territory-specific strategies; lead multi-thematic teams (natural resources, agriculture, livestock, skill development, enterprise promotion); ensure household-level impact.
- Programme Management: Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring; guide budgeting and evaluation; support development of delivery frameworks.
- Team Management: Provide proactive leadership, motivation, and performance monitoring; facilitate capacity building.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government officials, donors, and partners; represent the organization at state/national platforms; coordinate high-profile visits.
- Financial Oversight & Fundraising: Manage budgeting and tracking expenditures; contribute to resource mobilization and proposal development.
- Coordination: Collaborate with HR, Finance, M&E, Admin, and Safety departments; ensure timely submission of reports to donors and headquarters.
